Release Major Advising Hold:

Majors will have a registration hold, requiring advising before you can register. Minors are not required to be advised in the minor, but I’m happy to meet with any of you.

Advising appointments are valuable for course planning, but also to discuss your overall experiences at Stan State, and to plan for post-graduation goals (work, grad school, etc).

While we're unable to hold in-person advising, we are available with flexible appointments via Zoom, phone or email. The Fall schedule of course offerings will be published on April 10th by 5 pm and registration for the fall term begins on May 1, so we should schedule appointments before then. I encourage you to set appointments from 30-60 minutes – whatever you think is useful. By default, appointments are for 30 minutes, so if you want more time, schedule back-to-back time blocks. We can also be available in the evenings and on weekends if that’s helpful. You can schedule your appointment with Dr. T. Theo Cotten, Director of Gender Studies, at Calendar | Navigate or Outlook Calendar. Or send an email to tcotten@csustan.edu, or trystancotten@gmail.com, with a range of days/times of your availability and I’ll get back to you. You can also make an advising appointment with Dr. Eudey via Warrior Connect or via email at beudey@csustan.edu

  2. Prior to your advising session:
    • Fill and submit the Advising Approval Web Form
      • Enter your name and email for “Participant 1.”
      • Enter your advisor’s name and email for “Participant 2.”
    • You’ll receive an email confirmation with a copy of the form, which will be automatically forwarded to your advisor for signature.
