To make a gift of publicly traded stocks and/or securities, please call Mary Hartsfield at 209-664-6864 or send an email to Mhartsfield@csustan.edu. Ms. Hartsfield will provide the necessary information regarding the University’s broker, Graystone.
Sometimes, employers will match gifts that are made to charitable organizations by their employees.
Contact your human resources representative to determine if your employer has a matching gift program. Your employer may ask you to complete a matching gift form. If so, submit that form and your donation to Stanislaus State. Matching gift programs increase the impact of employee contributions and result in an even more positive impact for our students.
A Payroll Partner is someone who supports their favorite programs and/or colleges by participating in the voluntary payroll debit program.
Payroll deduction is the most convenient way for Stan State employees to support students, as it simplifies the giving process. You set it once and each month your support goes to the Stan State programs you care about most.
You can pledge an amount that fits your budget (a minimum of $5 per pay period). This amount is then withdrawn pre-tax from your pay and University Advancement allocates it to the fund(s) or program(s) of your choice.
To become a Payroll Partner, indicate your interest when completing the Online Giving Form. Stanislaus State needs at least 50 active participants to establish Payroll Partners with the State Controller. Once the threshold is reached, University Advancement will contact you with the necessary form and instructions. University Advancement will handle the submission of the forms and notify you when your payroll contributions begin and any existing debit or credit card contributions will be discontinued. Your recurring gift will then be automatically withdrawn from your paycheck.
Many donors choose to leave an estate gift to Stanislaus State. Our development team can assist you in making arrangements for a planned gift. Learn more about Planned Giving.
