Meal Plan 101: Your Guide to Dining on Campus

Because all residents are required to have a meal plan, Housing and Residential Life works closely with Warrior Eats Dining Services to ensure that our residents have the best possible dining experience.

Use this page as your guide to dining on campus and how to use your meal plan at all of the open locations!

For more information and What's On The Menu, visit the Warrior Eats website

All meal plans are loaded onto your Warrior ID cards and function as a declining balance “debit card.” You can use your meal plan at any open dining location on campus, including Starbucks, whether it be for a coffee, a full meal, a meal for a friend, or household items at The Market Convenience Store!

Meal plans are active starting on Move-In Day. You’ll receive half of your funds for the fall semester and the other half for the spring semester.

  • At the end of the fall semester (December), any unused meal plan money will roll over in full to the spring semester.
  • At the end of the spring semester (May), meal plan funds cannot be cashed out, so be sure to use it or you’ll lose it!
  • If a resident lives on campus during the spring semester and decides to live on campus the following fall semester, 10% of remaining spring meal plan funds will roll over to the fall semester. For example: Titus lives on campus Spring 2022 and has $100 of unused meal plan funds on his card when he moves out in May, but he is moving back to student housing for Fall 2022. Titus will receive $10 more on his Fall 2022 meal plan because of that 10% rollover.

Students, family, or friends can recharge a meal plan balance by visiting the Dine on Campus website.

Housing residents can use their meal plan at any dining venue on campus, whether they want a coffee from the Village Cafe counter or a full meal from Main Dining.

Have a question or comment about your dining experience? Do you have a suggestion, or did you absolutely love a meal and want to tell us about it? You can directly text the Warrior Eats leadership team at 209-841-0772.

  • Students may request a first-time Warrior Card by submitting their passport-style color photo to the Warrior Card Online Photo Submission tool
  • Complete step-by-step instructions are provided for submitting your image and verifying documentation. Your information is safe, secure, and encrypted.
