Low Costs, High Expectations
Stanislaus State Housing and Residential Life consistently has some of the lowest rental rates in the California State University system. Our rates outmatch many off-campus competitors, plus we maintain a high level of support services and community amenities to provide the best quality of living and value for students.

Financial Aid can also be applied to student housing. To view your financial aid award, login to your student account via MyStanState.
To calculate your total cost to live on campus, add the cost of your selected Room Type to your selected Meal Plan. Visit the Payment Plan website to learn more about housing charges, how to make a payment, or make an appointment with our Student Accounts Specialist to discuss finances.
2026-27 Rental Rates
The Academic Year contract starts on Move-In Day in August to Move-Out in May. Students who graduate at the end of the fall semester or who plan on studying abroad in the spring should select the single semester option inside the Academic Year contract.

2026-27 Meal Plans
All students living on campus are required to purchase a meal plan. Residents have 10 days following Move-In Day to change their meal plan selection in the Housing Portal.
Flex, Canteen Cash, and Swipe amounts are listed by semester.

Swipes expire at the end of each semester. Unused Fall Flex and Canteen Cash will roll over from fall to spring semester. Any unused funds at the end of spring semester are forfeited to Warrior Eats.

Applicants with a Spring 2025 and/or Fall 2025 booking will automatically be billed to "bridge" their housing contracts for the amounts listed above. Incoming residents (not living on campus for Spring) will not be charged to bridged Spring to Summer and will receive separate instructions about their move-in day.
