Keeping Costs Low and Expectations High

Housing and Residential Life at Stanislaus State consistently has some of the lowest rental rates in the CSU system. Even though our costs are low, we still maintain a high number of services and amenities to provide the best quality of living and value for our residents. 

2020-21 Academic Year Rent Rates*

The cost to live in the residence halls is based on two factors: room type and meal plan. Rooms are available in single occupancy (one person per room), double occupancy (two people per room) and triple occupancy (three people per room).

*Rates include premium cable, wireless internet, no cap on utilities, free laundry and 24/7 staff assistance. Enjoy 2 computer labs with free printing, on-site academic advisor, convenient online maintenance requests, on-call lockout service and a long list of attractive amenities.

Campus Dining Services

Stanislaus State Dining has an exclusive contract with Chartwells Campus Services to provide food
service on campus. Culinary options ranging from fresh and healthy, to traditional comfort foods and are available through both the main campus dining hall and the Village Cafe. By becoming a member of the Village family you are not only on the fast track to academic success, you get to take advantage of a wide variety of meal choices and cooking is optional! 

In addition, those with medically required special diets need not fear as appropriate meals will be prepared when prescribed and approved in writing by a physician.
