Why are we implementing CHRS?

CHRS is based on PeopleSoft 9.2 with modifications to make it work for campuses in the CSU system. These modifications have been designed by experts from all campuses in the CSU system, and are being built by the Chancellor’s Office. Built for the CSU, by the CSU.

PeopleSoft 9.2 Plus CSU Customization equals CHRS

Prior to CHRS:

23 different versions of software across the CSU system, which is difficult and costly to maintain Campuses using different HR processes No common way of doing business or sharing of resources PeopleSoft 9.0 is not supported anymore
