Paycheck Distribution

June 2020 master paycheck pick-up will be provided to those employees who are not enrolled in Direct Deposit. Checks not picked up from other distribution days will also be available for pick-up.

Checks will be dated July 1, 2020 and must NOT be cashed before 4:00 p.m., June 30, 2020. Doing so may cause a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) flag from the State Controller’s Office. It could take up to 3-4 weeks to re-issue your check, and you will be responsible for any charges incurred from your bank or check cashing company/store.

Paychecks Not Picked Up

Paychecks not picked up on this day will continue to be available for pick up during Cashier’s reduced hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. If you need your check mailed, please contact Human Resources at or

3rd Party Pickup

If you need someone else to pick up your check for you, they must present the 3rd Party Authorization to Pick up Payroll Check form. It must be filled out by you and given to them prior to picking up. They must also present an ID with the form.

Cal Employee Connect

In response to COVID-19, the State Controller’s Office (SCO) has temporarily suspended the printing of direct deposit advices for all departments and campuses with access to Cal Employee Connect (CEC), effective with May 2020 Pay Period’s Master Pay. Cal Employee Connect allows you to view your paycheck/direct deposit advice and annual W-2 online. A registration Job Aid can be found on the Human Resources website.
