General Information

The new building is named Willow Hall.

Willow Hall officially opened Feb. 9, 2026, when nursing began classes in the nursing suite. Beginning June 1, 2026, Acacia Court operations will temporarily relocate to Willow Hall during the Acacia Court HVAC renovation project.

Willow Hall is a general academic building that supports instruction across a variety of disciplines. The second floor includes a dedicated nursing suite designed specifically for the nursing program.

Regular building hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. The building is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, except for approved activities scheduled through 25Live.

Summer 2026 Hours 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 1, 2026, through Aug. 14, 2026.

Willow Hall is available for use by students, faculty, staff and approved visitors.

Parking is available around the periphery of the campus.

Yes. Willow Hall is fully ADA accessible and includes accessible entrances, elevators, restrooms and classroom accommodations.

Yes. Two centrally located elevator cabs are available near the main information area for convenient access to all floors.

Classrooms & Technology

A: Willow Hall classrooms are equipped with the same instructional technology standards used in the Stockton Acacia Building and across the Turlock campus, providing a consistent and familiar teaching environment.

Each classroom includes:

  • Projection and writing surfaces
  • Classroom PCs and laptop connectivity
  • Document cameras
  • Zoom-capable cameras and microphones
  • Active data cabling to support in-person, hybrid, and remote instruction

Classrooms also feature an Extron smart control system that provides a standardized interface for managing displays, audio, cameras and input sources. This technology infrastructure supports reliable instruction, collaboration, presentations, hybrid learning and everyday classroom activities across campus locations.

Yes. Wi-Fi access is available throughout Willow Hall using the university’s wireless network.

Yes. Computer labs are located on the second floor in rooms 2002, 2004 and 2006.

Printing services are available in the following locations:

  • Faculty/Staff Printer: Suite 1013
  • Student Printers:
    • First Floor – Library Suite 1010
    • Second Floor – Computer Lab 2006

Student Spaces

Yes. Willow Hall offers a variety of study and collaboration spaces throughout the building to support both individual and group learning needs. Available study areas include:

  • Main lobby, east and west wings: Two seating areas are located near the main entrances. The central lobby staircase also features cushioned seating with convenient access to power and USB charging ports.
  • Corridors, both floors: Built-in booth seating with tables is available throughout the hallways, all equipped with power and USB outlets.
  • Flexible use spaces: Rooms not scheduled for lectures may be reserved for study sessions or group use through 25Live Express Scheduling.
  • Second-floor lobbies, east and west wings: Built-in tables with nearby power outlets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Elevator lobby area: Three high-top seating areas with tables are located near power outlets for convenient use.

Wireless connectivity and accessible power are available throughout the building to support academic and collaborative activities.

Yes. Students can reserve rooms through 25Live Express Scheduling.

Food and beverage use is permitted in accordance with department and university policies. The first floor includes shared amenities for student and staff use, including:

  • Two refrigerators
  • Two microwaves
  • Counter space with a toaster
  • Coffee maker station

Faculty & Staff Questions

Faculty may request classroom access through the myStanState portal by submitting a CPFM work order for “Key Access.” Faculty affiliated with the nursing program should indicate this in the comments section of the request.

Office assignments are coordinated through the appropriate department or administrative office.

During the Acacia Court HVAC project, June 1-Oct. 30, 2026, Willow Hall will serve as temporary swing space for Acacia Court offices. The following spaces will be available:

  • Conference Room 1010A: Available for meetings and reservable through 25Live.
    • Office 1010E: Configured with two guest seats and available for reservation through 25Live.
    • Suite 1013: Available on a first-come, first-served basis. The suite includes:
  • Three height-adjustable workstations with power and wireless connectivity
  • A central collaborative table with power and data access
  • Seating capacity for up to eight individuals

Campus Planning and Facilities Management manages and dispatches requests for routine, non-billable, non-routine, billable and emergency facility services.

  • Non-emergency service requests: Submit an online work order through the CPFM system.
  • Emergency requests during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Call (209) 667-3211.
  • After-hours, weekend or holiday emergencies: Contact the University Police Department at (209) 667-3114.

Personal electrical appliances are not permitted in campus buildings, including Willow Hall, unless specifically approved. This policy aligns with CSU systemwide policy, including:

CSU Executive Order 987 (Energy Conservation and Sustainable Building Practices), which requires campuses to operate facilities in the most energy-efficient manner and limit unnecessary energy use.

CSU Sustainability Policy, which directs campuses to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions across all campus operations and facilities.

Safety & Security

A: Willow Hall is equipped with a comprehensive range of safety and emergency response features to support the well-being of students, faculty, staff and visitors. Key safety resources include:

  • Evacuation plan maps are posted on each floor and identify stairwells, exit routes, building exits and fire extinguisher locations.
  • Emergency response services:
    • Stockton Police Department handles emergency calls for service and can be reached at 911 or (209) 937-8377.
    • Securitas Security provides campus safety patrol services and can be reached at (209) 715-0740.
  • AEDs and trauma kits:
    • Two automated external defibrillators, AEDs, and two trauma kits are located on opposite sides of the first floor, Room 1001 and near the elevator/stairwell at Room 1000.
    • One AED and one trauma kit are located on the second floor near the elevator/stairwell at Room 2000J1.
  • Emergency call button and evacuation chair: An emergency call button and evacuation chair are located on the second floor at the top of the stairwell outside Room 2002.
  • Emergency blue light phones are positioned throughout campus and connect directly to 911 services.
  • Designated building marshals and monitors are assigned to assist with building evacuations and emergency coordination.
  • Video surveillance cameras are installed and actively utilized throughout the facility.
  • Paxton access control readers are installed to support campus security measures, including lockdown and shelter-in-place procedures when necessary.

During an emergency, follow all posted evacuation procedures and instructions provided by campus officials, emergency personnel or building marshals. Additional emergency

Yes. Willow Hall is monitored through multiple safety and security systems. Fire and intrusion alarms are monitored by Cosco Fire, with notifications dispatched to the Stockton Police and Fire Departments as needed.

In addition:

  • Two-way emergency phones located in the second-floor stairwells and elevator lobby connect directly to Grupe Huber Securitas, which coordinates emergency response services.
  • Three Emergency Blue Light phones located throughout the Stockton campus connect directly to 911 emergency services.
  • The building also includes video surveillance systems and secured access controls to support campus safety and emergency response operations.

Events & Community Use

Yes. Stanislaus State departments may schedule events in Willow Hall through 25Live, in accordance with university policies and scheduling procedures. Third-party events may be coordinated through the University Events Office.

The Willow Hall Event Hall includes approximately 4,844 square feet of event space with a maximum occupancy of 969 individuals.

Available furnishings and equipment include:

  • 320 chairs
  • 20 round tables (72-inch)
  • 4 rectangular tables (30” x 72”)
  • Modular stage consisting of ten 3’ x 6’ panels with steps
  • Projection screen and projector system

The space is designed to support a variety of academic, community, and special event functions.

Yes. Community members may attend events designated as open to the public. Public events are identified through the University Events calendar.
