How to request learning support

Hiring Timeline and Process

We hire most peer educators before the semester starts. Once interested candidates apply, the hiring process typically takes 2-3 weeks to complete.

Process Steps

  1. Collaborate with faculty to identify learning support needs, assess demand, review data, recruit, or recommend applicants.
  2. Review applications and conduct interviews.
  3. Request faculty recommendations and ensure schedule availability of peer educator candidate.
  4. Selection of peer educator candidates and processing of Human Resources hiring documents.
  5. Conduct training for the peer educator role.
