Stan State is deeply committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. We continuously assess our languages and behaviors to ensure that all consider and reflect our diverse students, faculty and staff. We encourage respectful dialog and learning from one and other, and know that ongoing exposure to varied perspectives can lead to the improvement of near- and long-term intergroup relations.

Commitment and vision

We are committed to actively developing and fostering an inclusive environment that’s supported by deep understanding, alliance, behaviors, and infrastructure that reflect the value of every member of our community. As an organization, we must stand for these values and embrace the many cultures that comprise the Central Valley and beyond.

Inclusive Excellence

Stan State is dedicated to fostering an inclusive community that values diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, religion, and more. The University actively engages with its diverse population, aiming to go beyond surface-level recognition and promote inclusive excellence. Visit the Office of Inclusive Excellence website to learn more about the University's commitment to building a community that embraces and celebrates the unique strengths of every individual.

Warrior Cross Cultural Center

The Warrior Cross Cultural Center helps students develop meaningful skills to drive social justice and inclusion, based on understanding, action, and processes. The Center empowers underserved communities while challenging systems, dominant thinking and policies, and those systems that maintain inequities in our society.

Joint Task Force on Diversity and Inclusion

City of Turlock & Stanislaus State Joint Taskforce on Diversity and Inclusion (CTSS-JTDI) is comprised of university representatives and the Turlock city government. Together they work to create a city and campus that is truly inclusive, affirming, and just. (Turlock only)
