The program is 32 units. Full-time students can complete the program in one year if enrolled in both semesters.  Students who start in August finish by the end of May. Students who begin in January finish by the end of December.  Students also have the option of completing the program in three semesters if this better suits their needs.

Full-time students pay about $4,232 for 7 units or more each semester (Fall/Spring) and Part-time students pay about $2,834 for 0-6 units per semester (Fall/Spring). Overall book costs are approximately $700. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. Contact Financial Aid office for more details at 209-667-3336.

In the Single Subject Program, students may submit an application for consideration of a full-time teaching job for their second semester of student teaching. If approved, we encourage students to work under a STSP (Short Term Staff Permit); thus, saving students from paying for another course and tracking more professional development hours as required through a traditional internship.
