Stanislaus State’s College of Science has been awarded two grants, totaling $7.2 million over five years, to support student success in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields.
All 23 campuses in the CSU system are now accepting applications for the fall 2017 term. Apply online at http://www.calstate.edu/apply . The deadline for submitting applications is Nov. 30, 2016.
The CSU system encourages high school seniors and community college transfer students to apply as early as possible. Most CSU campuses will not accept applications after the deadline has passed.
The Stanislaus Audubon Society, which raised $4,500 to purchase a copy of the rare “Birds of the Pacific Slope,” has donated the two-volume set to Stanislaus State’s Vasche Library, where it will be housed in the special collections area.
