Spring 2023

Women’s Campus Connection is an affinity group committed to understanding and advancing the status of women at Stanislaus State and inspiring personal and professional development. The Women's Campus Connection activities are open to the entire campus community. 

We accomplish our aims through such actions as:

• Gaining an understanding of women’s diverse experiences at Stan State, and making data about women more visible to the campus community
• Advocating for and addressing the concerns of women-identified Stan State students, faculty, staff, and administration (including the impact of COVID-19)
• Actively promoting a safe, just, and inclusive working and learning environment free of sexism and discrimination through policy, research, advocacy, and education.
• Supporting women’s personal well-being and professional development (including via mentoring, career development, leadership development, speakers, book clubs, networking, wellness activities, and roles in the WCC)
• Celebrating accomplishments (awards for actions that support women at Stan State)
• Discovery and elimination of institutional barriers to the success of women, and their ability to contribute to the institution and the larger community.

If you would like to nominate a speaker or yourself to speak at a Women's Campus Connection, please select one of the above forms. This nomination will be reviewed by the WCC Committee.
