The Justice Impacted Advocates (JIA - pronounced J-EE-y-uh) is a group for individuals that are passionate about serving formerly incarcerated students. JIA is open to the entire campus community including faculty, staff, and students who are justice impacted or systems impacted. Justice impacted individuals are those that have served time in juvenile hall, jail, or prison and system impacted individuals are those that had immediate relatives that were incarcerated. The overall mission is to build a coalition within our campus community to advocate and share community and campus resources for the success of the student group. Our mission is to build support within the campus and beyond.
