Welcome to the AFSA at Stan State

The Assyrian Faculty and Staff Association (AFSA) was established in 2025 to create a space for connection, cultural celebration and shared advocacy among Assyrian professionals at Stanislaus State. As one of the University’s recognized affinity groups, AFSA serves as a home for faculty and staff who share an Assyrian heritage or are passionate about supporting the community. Whether through mentorship, community building, or campus engagement, the association supports members in their personal and professional journeys while highlighting the vibrant contributions of the Assyrian culture to higher education.
