Professor of Accounting
Dr. Kim Tan is a professor of Accounting in the College of Business Administration. She obtained her PhD from Temple University in Philadelphia, a Master degree from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia and a Bachelor degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She is a Chartered Accountant (CA) of Australia and New Zealand, and a senior member of the Australian Computer Society. She started teaching in Stan State since August of 1998, and she has published in top accounting journals like Issues in Accounting Education and Behavioral Research in Accounting. She teaches mainly Managerial and Cost Accounting.
