Female student listening to lecture

The management concentration in human resources provides students with opportunities for learning in a mixture of courses oriented around a general theme of interpersonal relations and the dynamics of organizing to achieve common goals. This includes teamwork, working effectively with others, and interacting productively with an increasingly
diverse body of co-workers.

Human resource students are interested in working with people, helping people build successful careers, dynamic teamwork, leadership, and organizing to achieve common goals. Students will learn organizational behavior, human resource law, human resource management, labor relations, entrepreneurship and venture initiation, small business management, and quality and production management.
