Occupational Health and Safety is a multi-disciplinary area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goals of occupational safety and health programs are to foster a safe and healthy work environment for faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

The Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), better known as Cal/OSHA, protects and improves the health and safety of working men and women in California.

Stanislaus State's occupational health and safety programs are designed to create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment on campus. These programs help ensure that the University complies with health and safety regulations of agencies at the federal, state, and local levels.
