TURLOCK, Calif. — May 23, 2012 — The Pre-Freshman Enrichment Program (PREP) 2012 academy at CSU Stanislaus is three weeks of rigorous learning incorporating hands-on fun with science. The paid program is open to a limited number of students entering grades 7 to 9 this fall.
A range of activities in physics, chemistry, astronomy, earth and life science, programming and robotics are included in the curriculum.
California State University (CSU), Stanislaus Provost Dr. James T. Strong and V.P. Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Dr. Suzanne Espinoza recently recognized more than 70 outstanding students during a “Salute to Student Achievers.” Top-performing students (see list below) in each major received the Dean’s Medal of Excellence as recognition of his or her outstanding academic career at CSU Stanislaus.

TURLOCK, Calif. — May 23, 2012 — For the fifth year in a row, California State University (CSU), Stanislaus students have won awards at the statewide 2012 California Geographical Society (CGS) Meeting. Criminal Justice major Samantha Felice won first place in the undergraduate competition for her paper “Spatial Fluctuations in Crime by Season: An Ode to Quetelet and the Green Crime Paradigm.” Her faculty mentor is Dr. Gregory Morris.
