WHAT: 5th Annual Conference for Sustainable Futures featuring the Bioneers Conference

WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 13 through Sunday, Oct. 16

WHERE: CSU Stanislaus, Turlock. Most lectures and presentations will take place in the Mary Stuart Rogers Educational Gateway Services Building (MSR), Room 130.
The Doctoral Program (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership at California State University (CSU), Stanislaus is accepting applications for its fifth cohort of students, with classes scheduled to begin in June 2012 in the Stockton/Manteca area.

Applications for priority admission to the June 2012 Stockton/Manteca based Ed.D. cohort will be accepted beginning October 3 and will continue until the February 3, 2012 deadline.
This year, California State University, Stanislaus is pleased to announce the appointment of 31 new full-time faculty members (22 tenured/tenure track). Despite the difficult fiscal conditions facing the state, region and campus, CSU Stanislaus remains steadfast in its commitment to continue to serve current and future students through high-quality course offerings from outstanding faculty. The new faculty members fill high-need positions and come from a variety of academic disciplines.  They were selected through competitive national search processes. 
WHAT: 12th Kinesiology Majors Olympiad

WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 14, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHERE: In front of the Ed and Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena (near the corner of Geer Rd. and Christoffersen Parkway, Turlock)

DETAILS: The Olympics will begin with an opening ceremony of introductions and a group warm-up. The games will commence with partnerships and trios of students participating in eight different stations, supervised by the faculty.
