The University Police Department at Stanislaus State has joined a prestigious group of university and college public safety agencies in earning accreditation from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.

Marketing teams from Stan State’s Office of Extended and International Education and the Office of Communications and Public Affairs (CPA) were honored in Higher Education Marketing Report’s 35th Annual Educational Advertising Awards (EduADAWARDS) competition.

Extended and International Education earned seven awards, two of them gold, the highest honor, and CPA earned three awards, one gold.

The California State University Office of the Chancellor has awarded Stanislaus State $30,000 for use in the recruitment and retention of diverse faculty.

The grant, written by Jason Myers, associate vice president for faculty affairs, Shradha Tibrewal, director of the Faculty Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (FCETL) and the President’s Commission on Diversity and Inclusion (PCDI), will go toward two programs.
