Sixteen graduating high school seniors have been selected as 2007-2008 recipients of the President's and Provost's Scholarships at California State University, Stanislaus.

Those awarded the largest individual scholarships at CSU Stanislaus include eight graduating high school seniors who have been named President's Scholars and another eight selected as Provost's Scholars. President's Scholarships are $12,500 per year for four years and the Provost Scholarships are $3,500 per year for four years.
California State University, Stanislaus will open its brand new science facility, Nora and Hashem Naraghi Hall of Science, for behind-the-scenes tours on Friday, September 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. Parking will be available in Lot 11 on campus off the University Circle entrance along Monte Vista Avenue.
Wine, cheese, hors d' oeuvres, and live and silent auctions are on tap for the Fifth Annual California State University, Stanislaus Agricultural Studies Department's "Tastes of the Valley" wine and cheese tasting event at Hilmar Cheese Company on Thursday, October 4.

Tickets are $35 for the 6-9 p.m. program and are available at the CSU Stanislaus Agricultural Studies Department, Room 108A in Bizzini Hall on the University campus, 801 W. Monte Vista Avenue. Proceeds will benefit the CSU Stanislaus Ag Studies program's promotions, scholarships, and student outreach efforts.
Beginning today, September 18, 2007, the mailing address for California State University, Stanislaus is changed from 801 W. Monte Vista Avenue to One University Circle. The address change is part of an ongoing effort to raise the profile of CSU Stanislaus and to build a University Community in the City of Turlock.
