The goal of our University Honors Program is to promote intellectual curiosity and personal engagement with learning. We accomplish this by cultivating a community of scholarly research among cohorts of high-achieving students. Our program introduces intellectual frameworks for exploring and connecting ideas and methods across disciplines.
Senior Capstone Project
With the Honors Capstone Project, students have the chance to craft a research project or produce scholarly/ creative work in any field of interest chosen. Students will need to plan for the classes heading up to the Capstone project. For reference, please see our Honors course checklist on our advising page. With our course pathway as well as the professor mentoring program, students are able to design, publish, and present their research in the University Honors Program Journal and the annual Capstone Conference by their senior year.
