ASI Study Abroad Scholarship
The Study Abroad Scholarship provides financial assistance and awards Study Abroad students. The award will be based on academic merit and community service.
How much is awarded?
A total of ten $500 scholarships will be awarded for the academic year.
50% of scholarships will be allocated for students to request during the fall semester, and 50% will be allocated during the spring semester. Any funds not utilized or allocated in the fall semester can roll over to spring semester allocation.
Deadlines
Applications have closed for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
2024-2025
October 15th - Deadline for Spring 2025 Study Abroad Programs.
April 15th - Deadline for Summer or Fall 2025 Study Abroad Programs.
- Eligible applicants must be participating in an affiliate providers program (CSU-IP, USAC, or Exchange).
- The scholarship is open to all majors, class levels, undergraduate, graduate, part-time, and full-time students.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled at California State University, Stanislaus.
- Applicants must have at least a 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).
- Applicants must be in good academic standing with the university.
- Incoming or current ASI members are not eligible to apply for scholarship.
Students wishing to apply for the ASI Study Abroad Scholarship must apply via the ASI Study Abroad Scholarship Application.
If you provide a complete application by the deadline, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship. Your application will then be made available to the scholarship committee for review. If you are awarded the scholarship, you will receive a notification from the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office.

ASI Warriors Giving Back Scholarship
The Warriors Giving Back Scholarship provides financial assistance and awards students who display exceptional leadership and who contribute to the CSU Stanislaus community and/or previous high school or community college community.
Amount Awarded
A total of fifteen $1,000 scholarships will be awarded for the academic year.
- Ten $1,000 scholarships will be dedicated to awarding applicants who are currently enrolled or are planning to enroll the following semester.
- Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to Associated Student Body (ASB) members from local high schools around Stanislaus State. This initiative aims to build leadership connections with these local high schools, thereby supporting ASI's efforts to boost enrollment and recruitment.

Application Deadline - March 2nd, 2025
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll the following semester at California State University, Stanislaus.
- Applicants must have completed and submitted a Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA).
- Applicants must have at least a 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).
- Applicants must be in good academic standing with the university.
- Incoming or current ASI members are not eligible to apply for scholarships.
- Any applicant selected for the scholarship who will only be attending fall semester for the academic year awarded, will be awarded the full amount that fall semester.
- The scholarship is open to all majors, class levels, undergraduate, graduate, part-time, and full-time students.
- Be an active contributor to the Stanislaus State community and/or previous high school or college community.

Students wishing to apply for the ASI Giving Back Scholarship must apply via the STARS online application.
After Applying
If you provide a complete application by the deadline, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship. Your application will then be made available to the scholarship committee for review. If you are awarded the scholarship, you will receive a notification from the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office.

Taking Amtrak?
Use the Turlock Transit Amtrak Shuttle!
This service provides same-day transportation to and from locations in Denair or Turlock and the Turlock-Denair Amtrak Station. Departing passengers can call (209) 668-5600 at least 1 hour before train arrival for $2.50 per person per trip. Fares can be paid with cash, coin, or credit card using the Transit App. A bus will be waiting for all inbound trains.

Students can save 15% on everyday travel with Amtrak
Amtrak San Joaquins provides Stanislaus State students with a convenient and affordable connection to the statewide train and Thruway Bus network. On the San Joaquins, students can save time and money, catch up on homework using the onboard Wi-Fi or relax by kicking back on the comfortable, spacious seating.
Connection Information
The train and Thruway Bus arrive at the Turlock-Denair Amtrak Station. Students can utilize the Amtrak Shuttle operated by Turlock Transit, which provides on-demand service to and from the station to anywhere in town for only $2.50.

Student Organization Funding
If your student organization plans on hosting an event or fundraiser open to the entire student body, you are eligible for this funding.
Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) promotes student organization by allocating funds from the annual ASI Operating Budget to fund student organization ran events or fundraisers on campus. Student Organization Funding is an opportunity for organizations to host events that benefit and broaden the educational, social, political, and cultural experience of students on campus. Recognized organizations can request up to $2,000 per academic year to support programs, fundraisers, activities, and events, including cultural and diversity events.
There are three funding cycles each semester to request Student Organization Funding. The Spring 2025 Semester dates for student organizations to apply to this funding are listed below:

The steps for requesting funds are as follows:
- Complete the Student Organization Funding Request Form.
- Meet with the ASI Student Government Supervisor or designee at least (7) days prior to the ASI Student Organization Funding Committee meeting.
- All requests over $250.00 will have to attend a Funding Committee meeting to present committee members information regarding your event. You must provide marketing/advertising materials regarding your event.
- The committee will vote on the approval or denial of the student organization funds requested. If approved, student organizations will work closely with SLEB to make future expenses.
