Warriors Giving Back
The Warriors Giving Back program provides opportunities for Stanislaus State Warriors to participate in community service and give back to those in need. An initiative that began in 2014 to create campus traditions of giving still holds true today. Give back today by participating in one of our annual events that supports our local community and beyond!
Summer
Backpack + School Supply Drive
Campaign ran through July 1, 2025 to July 31, 2025
The University Student Center is committed to supporting local elementary school students and ensuring they have the tools for success for their school year. Warriors are encouraged to donate backpacks, notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, markers, crayons, etc. to the Backpack and School Supply Drive. Once all supplies are collected, they're delivered in person to each school, sometimes with Titus!
Thank you to everyone who donated to the 2024 Backpack and School Supply Drive. Your generosity provided over 90 backpacks and 2,047 items to local children and families in need. Your support made a big difference in all the student's lives by contributing to their academic success
Fall
Giving Tree
Campaign ran through November 12, 2025 - December 5, 2025
The Giving Tree is an annual tradition rooted in the philosophy “see a need, fill a need” and every year the Stan State campus does just that. Warriors pick an elementary school student’s gift tag off the Giving Tree, purchase a new item off the student's wish list, and return the unwrapped gifts. Gifts are then wrapped by our staff and distributed to the elementary schools before winter break and just in time to spread holiday cheer.
The Giving Tree 2024 collected over 1,000 gifts to support 150 kids from 5 local schools- Cunningham, Wakefield, Osborn, Medeiros, and Denair Elementary Charter Academy. We had over 320 donors, of which 218 were students.
Spring
Blood Drive
Campaign ran on February 17, 2026
The annual Blood Drive is a collective effort of the campus to donate blood and save lives. In collaboration with Vitalant and NAK, we encourage Warriors to roll up their sleeves and give back to those in need.
Thanks to your help, the annual Blood Drive on February 11, 2025, we had 33 units of blood donated to local blood banks.
