Warriors Giving Back
The Warriors Giving Back program provides opportunities for Stanislaus State Warriors to participate in community service and give back to those in need. An initiative that began in 2014 to create campus traditions of giving still holds true today. Give back today by participating in one of our annual events that supports our local community and beyond!
Summer
Backpack + School Supply Drive (2025 Dates TBD)
The University Student Center is committed to supporting local elementary school students and ensuring they have the tools for success for their school year. Warriors are encouraged to donate backpacks, notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, markers, crayons, etc. to the Backpack and School Supply Drive. Once all supplies are collected, they're delivered in person to each school, sometimes with Titus in tow!
Thank you to everyone who donated to the 2024 Backpack and School Supply Drive. Your generosity provided over 90 backpacks and 2,047 items to local children and families in need. Your support made a big difference in all the student's lives by contributing to their academic success
Fall
Giving Tree(November 12-December 11, 2024)
The Giving Tree is an annual tradition rooted in the philosophy “see a need, fill a need” and every year the Stan State campus does just that. The Giving Tree supports 150 students from 5 local elementary schools: Cunningham, Osborn, Wakefield, Medeiros, and Denair Elementary.
The Giving Tree 2024 was a huge success with over 1,000 gifts donated from 320+ donors!
Spring
Blood Drive (February 11, 2025)
The annual Blood Drive is a collective effort of the campus to donate blood and save lives. In collaboration with Vitalant and NAK, we encourage Warriors to roll up their sleeves and give back to those in need.
The Blood Drive is on Tuesday, February 11th from 10am-2:45pm on Shield Lane (near book store) and advance appointments are required. Don't forget to enter code GIVELOVE-2025-V to claim your $20 gift card after your donation.
Thanks to your help, the equivalent to 46 pints of blood were donated to local blood banks in 2024.
Love Turlock (April 26th, 2025)
The newest addition to the Warriors Giving Back program, “Love Turlock” is an annual day of city-wide community service. Join your fellow Warriors on Saturday, April 26th for a local project to improve our community and the lives around us. We look forward to showing some Love for Turlock!
We will be signing up volunteers to assist on Saturday, April 26th to give back and show some Love for Turlock!
