Rise Up: Stan Together in Cultivating Recovery Culture

The Rise Up Center is proud to introduce the Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP), an initiative dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students in recovery, those seeking recovery, and anyone passionate about creating a culture of healing on campus. At the Rise Up Center, we believe that recovery is a journey best undertaken together. Our program offers a range of resources and opportunities to help students thrive academically and personally.

Get Involved! For more information on the Collegiate Recovery Program or to learn how you can get involved, please contact us at stanislausstatecrc@gmail.com. Together, we can create a stronger, more inclusive campus community!

  • Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC): A peer-driven network where students can connect, share experiences, and support one another in their recovery journeys. The CRC hosts regular meetings, social events, and group activities designed to foster lasting friendships and build a sense of belonging.
  • Recovery Ally Program: This program trains students, faculty, and staff to become certified Recovery Allies. Allies learn essential skills to support peers in recovery, advocate for a recovery-positive campus culture, and create safe, inclusive spaces for all.
  • BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students): A brief intervention program that provides personalized feedback to students about their alcohol use. BASICS helps students make informed decisions and develop healthier drinking habits.
  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS): Our dedicated team at CAPS offers specialized mental health support, ensuring that students have access to professional resources tailored to their needs.
  • Case Management and Referrals: We provide comprehensive case management services to assist students in navigating recovery resources, academic challenges, and personal goals. Our referral network connects students with additional support services as needed.

At the Rise Up Center, we invite everyone—whether you are in recovery, seeking recovery, love someone in recovery, or simply wish to cultivate a recovery-friendly environment—to join us in our mission. Our program embodies the spirit of inclusivity and mutual support, helping students stand together to create a vibrant recovery culture on campus.

  • Community: Become part of a welcoming community that understands the challenges of recovery and celebrates each other’s successes.
  • Support: Access resources designed to empower students on their recovery journeys and enhance their overall well-being.
  • Culture of Healing: Contribute to a campus culture that prioritizes mental health, resilience, and the importance of recovery.

Join us at the Rise Up Center as we stand together in cultivating a recovery culture that supports every student’s journey toward wellness and fulfillment.
