If you have started a COVID-19 vaccination regimen, a TB test cannot be administered until 4 weeks after your second dose of Moderna or Pfizer. A TB test cannot be placed between the first and second vaccine dose.

Tuberculosis  (TB) testing is free to all eligible students with an appointment.

Testing Available Following Days & Times

Monday, Wednesday
8:30 a.m. - 11: 15 a.m. and
1:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Tuesday & Friday
9: 30 a.m. - 11: 15 a.m. and
1:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Thursday
Only TB reads will be done.
No tests will be administered.

Students may book an appointment for TB testing by calling 209-667-3396. Students must return 48 to 72 hours after the test is administered to have the results read. If you do not return within the 48 to 72 hours window the test will have to be re-administered.

TB Reads

After the placement of the tuberculosis test, students must return within 48-72 hours to have the test read. TB reads are done Monday to Friday during regular clinic hours. Students may book an appointment for a TB read by calling 209-667-3396 during regular business hours. 

Two-Step TB Testing

If you are a nursing student requiring a two-step TB test, the second test must be placed within one to three weeks after the placement of the first test. The second test must also be read within 48-72 hours of placement. Two-Step TB tests are available on the days and times listed above for a basic TB test.
