This page describes various tools available to instructors for conducting video-based assessments and related activities. VoiceThread, Discussions Plus, and Padlet are all tools that allow video uploads, but it can be hard to know which one to use. All three tools have strengths and weaknesses for any given activity, and VoiceThread and Discussions Plus send grades into the Canvas grade book. Read on for information that will clarify which tool is right for your activity.

The Office of Graduate Studies and Research is hosting information sessions for the California Pre-Doctoral (Pre-Doc) Program and the Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP).

The California Pre-Doctoral Program is designed to increase the pool of potential California State University faculty by supporting the doctoral aspirations of CSU students who have experienced economic and educational disadvantages.  Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are qualified to apply for this scholarship.
