The California State University, Stanislaus Foundation operates as an auxiliary of California State University, Stanislaus. The Foundation's purpose is to supplement the services and funding provided by the state to our students, staff, and faculty by securing private support on behalf of the University.
The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) entity and is responsible for the receipt, acknowledgment, and oversight of all private gifts to the University.
Established in 1960, the Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors whose members include top business, civic, and community leaders from the region.
The Foundation's mission is to promote academic excellence through the facilitation of philanthropy and external support. In addition, the Foundation supports the faculty and administration in developing new and innovative programs.
