Are you a caregiver or parent attending college?  Everyone needs to give themselves permission to take a break and give back to themselves.  Come to our workshop and join other parents and caregivers as we explore ways to nurture ourselves.  This workshop is designated to provide a safe space for Stan State students, who find themselves giving to everyone else when they need to take a time-out, out to be heard and validated, while they are on their academic journey. It is important for caregivers and parents to retain a sense of self, and feel supported by their college community, as they fulfill their many responsibilities. This 1.5-hour workshop will allow for a time out, a moment to take a deep breath while communing with fellow peers, who are experiencing similar circumstances.  Join us as we engage in a community circle to support one another and cruise through the caregiving experience.
