The California State University, Stanislaus Foundation operates as an auxiliary of California State University, Stanislaus. The Foundation's purpose is to supplement the services and funding provided by the state to our students, staff, and faculty by securing private support on behalf of the University.

The Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) entity and is responsible for the receipt, acknowledgment, and oversight of all private gifts to the University.

At the foundation of supporting and promoting graduate student success is ensuring quality graduate programs. In addition to the critical role that the individual graduate program faculty play in the delivery of our high-quality programs, the University’s Graduate Council plays a critical governance role in the oversight, strategic direction, and advocacy for graduate education. As a committee of the Academic Senate, the charge of Graduate Council includes:
