About MSTI
The Math and Science Teacher Initiative (MSTI) at California State University, Stanislaus aims to strengthen the recruitment, preparation, and retention of diverse, highly qualified STEM educators serving California’s Central Valley. It provides support for students and in-service teachers to network in the math and science teaching community, and offers great opportunities to attend professional development, and various scholarship opportunities. MSTI is part of a CSU system-wide project to increase math and science teachers, and will play a big role in addressing math and science teacher shortage.
