The Ethnic Studies Department at Stanislaus State will host the 2nd annual Healing Masculinities through Collective Voices virtual community event on Thursday, April 20th, 5-7 PM. This year’s theme is transformational justice. This online event is free and open to the public.

Get started today! The STEM Success project seeks to engage underserved students in STEM disciplines.

An interactive experience and workshop on how to understand your face structure and how to apply makeup. De-colonizing every beauty standard with confidence, and re-claiming ourselves with radical love. Open to all. Space is limited. Priority provided to Stan State students. Presented by Pink Poochiez, a grassroots community organization fighting for underserved communities (QTBIPOC) to have safe spaces for creativity and expression.

Button making is not new, but it sure is fun and we consider it our gateway making project for the Fab Lab!

The Fab Lab has multiple button presses, which are able to produce buttons with customized designs. Users can create a design in a graphics software like Adobe Illustrator, then print it onto a button template. The template is then punched into rounds and placed into the button press, along with a button shell, and the actuation of the press binds the assembly together into a finished button.

The Transportation Demand Management (TDM) consultants will be on campus to begin their surveys. We invite our faculty, staff and students to join us at the tabling event and answer the following two questions.

When it comes to transportation, mobility, and parking—including getting to, from, around and between campuses:

  1. What is going well?
  2. What could be going better?
