Tickets are available both at the box office and online. Please purchase your tickets/reserve your seats online in advance when possible, to expedite seating. Live streams of concerts and events, along with an archive of select past concerts, can be viewed on our YouTube channel.

While we have returned to the live, in-person concert format, please be aware we are still subject to the campus event protocol linked below, and this protocol is subject to change. View the University Event Protocols page for complete details.

  • Daily screening is required for attendance at any on-campus event. Please be sure to complete the screening before coming on campus. Guest Screening Forms
  • While masks are no longer required for in-person events, the use of a face covering is still strongly encouraged.

Stanislaus State Faculty and Staff are entitled to one (1) complimentary ticket per event for any non-special event in our concert season! We hope you will join us this season. You can claim your ticket:

  1. At the Snider Recital Hall box office during box office hours (see bottom of page) or as early as one hour prior to any concert.

Stan State Jazz Festival '23

Date announced! March 11, 2023. The 2023 Festival is on featuring some of the best Central Valley Jazz Ensembles and Combos. Bruce Foreman and his band "Cow Bop" will headline. Registartion and more details to come soon.


Brass Day

Dates TBA. The goal of Stanislaus State Brass Day is to provide high school and college students, as well as freelance brass players with a positive, engaging and educational experience all-encompassing the art of brass playing. Maximum interaction between guest artists and participants will take place throughout the day, highlighted by clinics and master classes, as well as an opportunity to perform with a large brass ensemble.

The goal of the Stanislaus State Jazz Festival is to provide students and directors with a positive educational and musical experience in Jazz. The Stan State choirs present their traditional Holiday concert, Carolfest! The ensembles will perform a variety of music celebrating the holiday season, including works by Handel, Conte, Fink, Burt, Hayes and more. The program will also include the world premiere of two new works by student composers Elizabeth Cochran-Bryan and Roy Mendiola. This will be a virtual event, streamed at the Department of Music YouTube channel.

Concert Chorale & Chamber Singers Spring Virtual Concert

We invite you to celebrate the end of the academic year with us and enjoy a variety of choral music performed by the Stan State choral ensembles. The groups will premiere two original compositions by current Stan State students, Mattea Overstreet and Isaiah Ringis; and will also perform with guests Andrew Maginley (lute and theorbo) and Rüdiger Kurz (viola da gamba). This is a free event.

Snider Recital Hall Box Office Hours

Box office hours are held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Fridays during the semester, except on Fridays without classes. The box office opens for at-door ticket sales generally 30 minutes prior to the event start time. Tickets are also available online at the link below! Please consider purchasing your tickets (or reserving your seat for free events) in advance, to expedite seating. Online sales/reservations generally begin four weeks prior to the event.
