Our mission is to lead health education and promotion initiatives, advocate for a health-promoting campus environment and foster strong partnerships with students, faculty, staff and community members. We are dedicated to advancing student wellness as a cornerstone of academic success and personal growth.

Guided by our vision, we strive to be the campus leader and primary resource for health education and promotion, offering innovative programs, services and resources that empower students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Campus and community collaboration – building strong connections to amplify impact.
  • Student-oriented approach – prioritizing the unique needs, goals and voices of students.
  • Cultural humility and inclusivity – fostering respect, equity and belonging.
  • Research – generating and applying knowledge to inform effective health promotion.
  • Assessment – evaluating programs and initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Personal and professional development – nurturing lifelong growth for students.
