In Graphic Arts courses, basic tools and techniques are introduced in conjunction with the potential range of meanings they can embody or express, they are never taught as something distinct. The curriculum is structured around the development of conceptual, perceptual and expressive capabilities. Courses in Graphic Arts impart students with strong technical knowledge in the processes of Relief, Intaglio, Lithography, Screen Print and Monotype to manipulate to their own ends. Classes introduce students to knowledge of methods, materials, and processes. The curricular structure and the contents of individual courses encourage students to develop a personal direction and style.

The Graphic Arts studios are fully equipped with the ability to print relief, intaglio, lithography, and silkscreen. Recent acquisitions have also introduced technologies such as the CNC router and laser cutter as vehicles for exploring the printed medium. Graphic Arts courses give students access to all these tools and in-depth technical knowledge of individual processes allowing for mastery of one or more of the Graphic Arts mediums. The courses, all of which may be repeated for credit, all move through simple to complex methods allowing for a full exploration of the print media.
