
Office Hours
The Warrior Fab Lab hosts regular “Office Hours” specifically for faculty, providing an open and casual space to connect, share ideas, and explore possibilities. These sessions are an opportunity to discuss anything from Fab Lab equipment and emerging technology trends to strategies for incorporating maker tools into classes, support for personal projects, or collaboration on new initiatives. Whether you’re curious about what the lab can offer, looking for inspiration, or simply want to chat with colleagues in a creative environment, office hours are a welcoming time to drop in and start a conversation.

Class Assignment and Project Support
We are continually improving the resources to make it easier for faculty to use the Fab Lab for class use.
If you’re interested in using the Warrior Fab Lab for class use, please fill out a Class Visitation form.
The Class Visitation form can be found on the Fab Lab’s homepage, under “Class”. Once submitted, we will be in contact for consultation for project ideas, material use, and other logistics.

General Workshops
The Warrior Fab Lab offers a variety of hands-on workshops designed to help students, faculty, and staff explore tools, technologies, and creative skills, from 3D printing and laser cutting to electronics, design software, AI and more. These sessions are open to all skill levels and are a great way to gain practical experience, complete class projects, or pursue personal interests. To view upcoming workshops and register, simply log in to Warrior Life, search for “Fab Lab” under events, and select the workshop that fits your schedule. Registration is quick and ensures your spot in the session, as space is often limited.

“3D Printing for Any Class” Workshops
Learn what the Warrior Fab Lab's 3D printing resources are available for classes. This workshop will discuss a basic overview of 3D printing, how to find and/or create 3D models, and how to use educational resources within the Fab Lab for a class project. Participants can expect to have all of the tools needed to develop a class project regardless of area of study and the material fees waived for class use this year.

Faculty Learning Community
An opportunity for enhancing your pedagogical practices through a Faculty Learning Community through the Warrior Fab Lab. This FLC will help participants think about teaching and learning focused on innovative design for new technology in the classroom including 3D print, laser cutting and use of AI in curriculum design and processes.
The goals for participants in this FLC are to:

Learn about and develop a project or modify course curriculum that involves the new Warrior Fab Lab processes and equipment

Gain collegial support for teaching innovative design with digital making processes across disciplines

Work collaboratively to identify and design pedagogical approaches to teach students by investigating possible projects together

Sewing Circle
Come join our sewing circle! We're facilitating a relaxed, creative space where beginners and experienced makers come together to stitch, share ideas, and learn from one another. Whether you’re working on your own project or starting something new, this is a supportive community to build skills, spark creativity, and enjoy the art of sewing together.
Open to the community, invite your friends!
