Project Requests

Project Request Submission Form

Do you have a project that you are looking for the Warrior Fab Lab team to create? Our student assistants have the ability to design, prototype and create a variety of items locally, without the cost of shipping, to support Stan State campus and community. This service also contributes to the student assistants experiential learning and skills training.

Examples of items we can create:

• Logos
• Wall signs
• Buttons
• Vinyl stickers
• T-shirts (no more than 20)
• 3D scans and prints
• Laser engravings
• Stoles

To request a project, start by filling out the online Project Request Submission Form. You can discuss project ideas with student assistants or Fab Lab Coordinator Melissa Parga before submitting a request. Consultation may be required after you submit a request.

Warrior Fab Lab Service Policies  

1. Project requests for creation must be submitted to the Warrior Fab Lab via its online submission page. We cannot accept project requests in person, but our student assistants can help with the submission in person.

2. Service fees for quoted projects included student assistants time on the project.

3. For orders that are rushed (less than a 9-business-day), there will be an additional $40  service fee.  

4. When providing your own material, you will only be charged a service fee.  

5. Project plans should be communicated clearly with project dimensions and other specification. Consultation with Warrior Fab Lab Coordinator, Melissa Parga mparga1@csustan.edu, may be required to ensure correct specifications. 

Payment

1. Official Invoices will be sent in 1-5 business days by The Warrior Fab Lab Coordinator.

2. When paying an invoice with a P-Card, please bring in a physical copy of the invoice to sign and date for Fab Lab records.   

3. Payment can include PCard, personal credit card, payment in the Registrars office (MSR 101) or an interdepartmental transfer.
