Our majestic 228-acre campus is home to 9,000 students, including 700 residents, as well as hundreds of faculty, staff and administrators. This is a friendly, diverse and success-oriented community. The University Police Department is proud to be a part of it, providing service seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Our mission is to help provide a safe environment where education and discovery can flourish. We strive for excellence while maintaining the highest ethics and integrity — traits that everyone expects from a police department. Our work is grounded in the robust relationships we’ve built with our campus community and the strong partnerships with our neighboring allied agencies.
Here are a few of the services the University Police Department provides:
- Community Outreach and Crime Prevention
- The Warrior Express Shuttle
- Rape Aggression Defense (RAD)
- Live Scan fingerprinting
- Parking Management Bureau
- Safety and Risk Management
I value your input, so if you have questions, comments or suggestions on how you believe we can improve services, please feel free to reach out to me or anyone else within the University Police Department.
