Below are frequently asked questions regarding New Student Orientation.

Yes.  You will need to complete your TitusLink module, which can be found in your student email. This link is sent prior to your New Student Orientation date.

Yes. New Student Orientation is mandatory for all new First-Year and Transfer students.

The Turlock and Stockton Campus will offer orientation in-person, on campus. Information and steps on what needs to be completed prior to your orientation will be sent to your student email two weeks prior to your scheduled orientation date.

Yes. You will meet with academic advisors and faculty from your major who will provide academic advising.

No. You will be registering for classes at New Student Orientation.  Academic advisors, evaluators, faculty, and orientation leaders will be available during orientation to assist you with class registration.

Class registration holds will be released during your scheduled New Student Orientation once when you begin registering for classes.

A concentration is a particular area of specialization within your major that focuses on a specific career path.  A minor is also a specific area of specialization that you would like to gain knowledge in but is separate from your major. 

Yes, you can change your major at any time during your college career by completing the Declaration or Change of Degree Objective Form. This form can be found on the Enrollment Services website.

Your student ID number can be found on your Acceptance Letter from the university. It is a 9-digit number referred to as your Warrior ID #. 

Yes.  You must remain present for the entire duration of the orientation program.

Yes. If you plan to take the majority of classes at the Stockton Campus, you should attend the Stockton Campus Orientation. If you plan to take the majority of your classes in Turlock,  you should register to attend the Turlock Campus Orientation.

 

Please note: The Stockton Campus only offers specific majors.
