Student Orientation & Transitions
Welcome WarriorS!
Student Orientation and Transitions programs provide information and services designed to assist first-year and transfer students and their families with a successful transition into Stan State. Once students accept admission to the university, we offer a continuum of services from New Student Orientation to Weeks of Welcome during the start of each semester to make sure students have the resources they need to succeed. Our goal is to help students learn what it means to be a Warrior academically, socially and culturally. Additionally, Student Orientation and Transitions highly values student leadership and development and employs over 30 student leaders to implement these university-wide programs on our Turlock and Stockton campuses.
New Student Orientation
An experience designed to help you prepare for your first year at Stan State. Before you arrive, get to know your orientation leaders, learn about orientation requirements, review important information, and prepare for Stanislaus State. Once you accept your admission to the University, you will automatically be registered for a New Student Orientation date.
