Student Orientation & Transitions

Student Orientation and Transition Programs provides programming and services designed to assist first-year, transfer students and their parents and families with a successful transition at Stan State. We offer a continuum of services, beginning with accepting admission to the university, through New Student Orientation to Weeks of Welcome during the start of each semester. We believe in assisting students in knowing and feeling what it means to be a Stan State Warrior. Additionally, Student Orientation and Transitions places high value on student leadership and development and employs over 30 student leaders to implement these university-wide programs on both the Turlock and Stockton campuses.
New Student Orientation
An experience designed to help you prepare for your first year at Stan State. Before you arrive, get to know your orientation leaders, learn about orientation requirements, review important information, and prepare for Stanislaus State. Once you accept your admission to the University, you will automatically be registered for a New Student Orientation date.
