Welcome Warrior!
Student Orientation and Transitions provides support that assists first-year students, transfer students and their families with a successful transition into Stan State. Once students accept admission to the University, we offer services from New Student Orientation to Weeks of Welcome. We want to make sure students have the resources they need to succeed! Our goal is to help students learn what it means to be a Warrior academically, socially and culturally.
New Student Orientation
An experience designed to help you prepare for your first year at Stan State. New Student Orientation is your opportunity to connect with peers to build relationships, explore resources, develop goals and learn how to be a successful Warrior. Once you accept your admission to the University, the next step is to register for New Student Orientation.
Please Note: New Student Orientation (NSO) is a separate event from Advising and Registration.
All new students are required to register for NSO. NSO Dates for fall 2025 admitted students are to be announced; dates and registration will be shared via students' Stanislaus State email. Please monitor and stay up-to-date on your University email for further updates and announcements.
