Your Warrior journey begins with New Student Orientation (NSO)--an experience designed to help prepare you for your first year at Stanislaus State. NSO is your opportunity to learn how to navigate academic life, discover vital support programs and resources, connect with your peers and become involved in our student community. We are excited to welcome students, families and supporters to campus for a sneak peek into Warrior Nation!
Summer Orientation Programs
- Transfer and First Year students are required to attend a one-day session in June/July.
- A concurrent Parent and Family Orientation program is available to family members of incoming students.
- Payment Due Date: Monday, September 16, 2024. Fees cover the cost of attendance for attendees, materials and staffing. Payment is not due at the time of orientation.
Upcoming NSO Dates
New Student Orientation is a required event for all incoming freshman and transfers students to connect with peers, faculty and staff to build relationships, explore resources, develop goals and learn what it takes to be a successful Warrior. Attending NSO is a valuable step in transitioning to Stanislaus State and is the best way to prepare yourself for student life. NSO gives you the opportunity to meet with an academic counselor, meet with a major advisor and register for classes.
***Class registration holds will be released during your NSO session.
