Your Journey Begins Here
New Student Orientation (NSO) is an experience designed to help you prepare for your first year at Stanislaus State. NSO is your opportunity to learn how to navigate academic life, discover support programs and resources, connect with peers and become involved in our student community.
Get Registered for NSO
Your journey at Stanislaus State begins this fall, and New Student Orientation (NSO) is your first step. Registration opens Wednesday, April 29! All new first-year and transfer students will participate in both the online Warrior Orientation Canvas Course and an in-person NSO program.
To get started, register for the in-person program that best fits your schedule and complete your registration. You only need to attend one session. The last day to self-register is July 24. Students who are not self-registered will be automatically registered for a date with open availability. Additional information about the Warrior Orientation Online Canvas Course will be sent to your student email.
Did you know guests can attend NSO? Guests are encouraged to attend Supporters Orientation, a separate orientation that teaches loved ones how the University is here to support their student. Supporter sessions are available at the Turlock campus in both English and Spanish.
