Guest Access Information

If you are a guest visiting Stan State and not a student, faculty, or staff member, please look for the "csus-guest" SSID on your device. When your device attempts to connect to it, a wizard will walk you through the steps to configure your device.

Note: The Guest network is Internet access only and is more constrained than the secure wireless network. Faculty, staff, and students are required to use the secure wireless network for access to all campus resources.

Have your phone ready and enroll in MFA so you can protect your accounts and personal information.

For more information on MFA and to enroll or read the FAQ, please visit OIT's dedicated MFA Page

Student Internet Program - Free Service

There are two programs students can use to get broadband internet at home. The first one is paid for by Stanislaus State and is delivered with the assistance of Comcast/Xfinity and Ayera.

The other program is a government supported program for qualifying households via the White House & FCC. This program would be most beneficial to those outside of the Comcast/Xfinity and Ayera service areas, such as those with Spectrum/Charter or AT&T. It can be used with any internet service provider and is not paid by Stanislaus State.

More details and the ability to request either of these programs is below.

If there are questions or you need assistance requesting the Stanislaus State student internet program, please contact the OIT Technology Support Desk at techsupport@csustan.edu.

This is a federal program to subsidize the cost of broadband for qualifying individuals at any broadband provider. It is best for those who already have broadband at home but qualify and would like to pay less. Qualifications and program details can be found at the White House's site.
