Are you a parent, guardian of a minor child, and a college student? Do you sometimes wish you had more support to get through the busy days, as you try and manage academic, personal, and family challenges?
Our goal is to build a sense of community, reduce feelings of isolation and stress, as we come together to support one another. The group will meet monthly to discuss topics related to the unique experiences of students caring for children.
Together we can strengthen one another as we come together as a village.

We often think of our bodies and our emotions as separate entities, but they are strongly linked together. Someone might tell you "it's all in your head," but that is actually not true. Have you ever had "butterflies in your stomach" when you were nervous? Or tense muscles when you were stressed? In this class, we will use the stretching, breathing, and movement of yoga to increase awareness, health, and restoration of this important mind-emotion-body connection. No yoga experience is necessary, and yoga mats will be provided.
