California State University, Stanislaus is a collegiate community that serves a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and administration. These facets of diversity encompass but are not limited to: race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, creed, religion, age, social class, socio-economic status, physical and cognitive differences, political views, and veteran status.

As it returns to an in-person event for the first time since 2020, Stanislaus State’s Fifth Black Power Matters, scheduled for 6 p.m. Feb. 22, in MSR 130, will have a decidedly different tone from years past.

The University Art Gallery is proud to announce the exhibition LaToya M. Hobbs:  Woodcuts showing from Feb. 9 through March 16, 2023.

Hours of Operation:
TWF: 12 - 5 p.m.
Thursday:  12 - 9 p.m.

Hobbs is a Baltimore artist who uses symbolic imagery to facilitate an ongoing dialogue about the Black female body to showcase a more balanced perception of her womanhood, one that dismantles prevailing stereotypes. Through portraiture, Hobbs explores the themes of beauty, spirituality, motherhood and sisterhood.

Leticia Caballero wants Stanislaus State Stockton Campus students experiencing food insecurity, a housing crisis or a financial emergency to know that she is on campus every day to help them in a variety of ways.

Join the Undocumented Student Services office for popcorn and an Undocumentary featuring The Infiltrators. THE INFILTRATORS is a docu-thriller that tells the true story of young immigrants who get arrested by Border Patrol, and put in a shadowy for-profit detention center – on purpose. Marco and Viri are members of the National Immigrant Youth Alliance, a group of radical Dreamers who are on a mission to stop deportations. And the best place to stop deportations, they believe, is in detention.

Black and Asian Americans reflect on the legacy of slavery, the inequities that persist, and the critical role that solidarity between communities has in acknowledging and addressing systemic racism in America.
