The California State University, Stanislaus College of Natural Sciences has awarded 13 members of its faculty with the first Naraghi Faculty Research Grant Awards aimed at enhancing their work on topics ranging from computer technology development and outer space to DNA analysis and food safety.

A second program titled "Writing Workshop for Women" that focuses on the healing process for victims of rape and abuse will be held in the Faculty Development Center at California State University, Stanislaus on Saturday, February 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. University Teacher Education Professors and authors Brenda Betts and Pamela Russ of the "Healing Ourselves Project" will coordinate the program.
