Research & Sponsored Programs
The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is your dedicated resource for navigating the complexities of research and sponsored projects at Stanislaus State. We provide comprehensive support to faculty, staff and students, helping secure funding, manage grants and ensure compliance with institutional and federal regulations. Our mission is to foster innovation and support the success of research and scholarly activities across campus.

Writing Support for Graduate Students
The Writing Center offers graduate students a variety of ways to receive support and feedback on their writing, including assistance with assignments, thesis papers, letters of intent and professional documents.
Graduate Peer Tutoring offers 50-minute in-person or online sessions with a fellow graduate student.
Tutors provide support and feedback on the unique writing challenges faced in graduate programs. Both one-time and weekly appointments are available.
Asynchronous Tutoring allows writers to submit their documents for review by a graduate-level peer tutor. Tutors provide feedback and return the document via email within 2 business days.
Stan State University Library
The mission of the Stan State University Library is to create an inclusive learning environment that inspires individuals from all backgrounds to explore, learn and grow intellectually and culturally. We are dedicated to supporting teaching, learning, research and lifelong learning by providing access to a wide range of information resources, services and initiatives that empower our community to succeed.
The Library's Circulation Front Desk is the place to go for help with borrowing library materials such as books, videos, course reserves, and materials checked out through CSU+ and Interlibrary Loan. In addition to checking out library materials, we also have laptops available for student use while on campus.
The Library offers computers and printing services supported by the Office of Information Technology (OIT) help desk on the first and second floors.
Laptops can be checked out for a full semester at the OIT help desk or for 4 hours at the Circulation desk. At the Stockton campus, laptops are available for 4-hour checkout.
Printing, downloading, and emailing are available on Library PCs, with basic printing costing ten cents per page.
Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Stan State is here to support students facing personal challenges. We encourage you to reach out and schedule a consultation with one of our counselors, who are ready to listen and help determine the best approach to support your individual needs.

The SERSCA Program offers comprehensive support for students engaging in research, scholarship, and creative activities (RSCA). From the initial stages of idea development to the final process of dissemination, the program guides students through each phase of their RSCA journey, helping them to enhance their academic and professional growth.
The California State University Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP) aims to increase the number of highly qualified, motivated faculty to teach CSU’s diverse student body. CDIP supports promising doctoral students with financial aid, mentorship from CSU faculty, and professional development resources.
