Join us for a stimulating and informative conversation with former Congressman John Duarte as he takes questions from faculty members Dr. Erin Hughes (Political Science and History) and Dr. Justin Gilmore (Political Science). Mr. Duarte will be talking about his experiences running for the Congress and serving in the 118th US House of Representatives from 2023 - 2025, his orientation towards and motivations for public service, his perspectives on current American politics and democracy, and related considerations. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions directly of Mr. Duarte as well at this event.

This talk is sponsored by the Department of Political Science, Public Administration and Leadership Studies and is free and open to the public.
