3D Printing is a method creating prototypes and models through the fundamentals of additive manufacturing.
We have multiple FDM 3D printers here in the Warrior Fab Lab. FDM stands for Fused Deposition Modelling which is a 3D printing variant that can use a variety of plastics. FDM printers work by starting with a base layer and adding success layers until the object is completely printed. For a list of our 3D printers, see our Equipment & Software page.
We mostly use PLA filament (Poly Lactic Acid) which is a non-petroleum, plant starch--based plastic. For a list of filaments and prices, see our Pricing page.
