The Student Center (SC) focuses on providing high-quality programs and events that benefit and contribute to student engagement on campus.
Within the Programming Department, SC funds multiple series and programs such as Warrior Wednesday activities, Titus Thursday events, Welcome Week and Welcome Back Week, and more.
Each program above is led and coordinated by one student assistant paid by the Student Center. The SC Events programming group works closely with Code Red Entertainment (CRE) members, who are essential innovative thinkers that assist in driving the programs hosted by the entire Programming Department.
Student Center Events
The Student Center (SC) hosts several events each semester such as Warrior Wednesday entertainment and activities, comedy shows, DIY pop-ups, live shows, and more!
These events are designed to attract students into the Student Center spaces and provide them with a break from their busy schedules by providing student engagement opportunities throughout the week.
Welcome Week 2026
Wednesday, August 19th - Wednesday, August 26th
Every fall semester, a Welcome Week series is held to greet both new and returning students, kicking off the academic year with exciting campus events.
Similarly, each spring semester, the Student Center collaborates with ASI & SC departments to organize a series of Welcome Back Week activities, providing students with an engaging and fun return from winter break
Every other Thursday throughout the semester the Student Center hosts a variety of fun-filled DIY events and other engaging activities. This program is designed to create a break for students in between classes.

SC Warrior Wednesdays offers engaging student activities, DIYS, and giveaways every Wednesday from 10am-1pm in the Quad. This weekly event is a great opportunity to connect with fellow students, discuss upcoming Student Center events, and build relationships within the student community.

Viva La Independencia

Celebrate culture, community, and tradition at the Student Center's annual Viva La Independencia celebration! In honor of Mexican Independence Day and Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, this vibrant event brings the campus together for an afternoon of live Mariachi music, delicious Mexican desserts, cultural activities, and opportunities to connect with campus resources. Hosted by the Student Center in collaboration with Community Engagement & Belonging and the Department of Ethnic Studies, Viva La Independencia celebrates the rich history, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities while fostering connection, learning, and school spirit. Join us for an unforgettable celebration filled with music, culture, and community!
Code Red Entertainment
Code Red Entertainment (CRE) is composed of innovative thinkers and enthusiastic planners that focus on event programming for the student body of Stanislaus State. Each academic year, members of Code Red Entertainment are selected through a recruitment and interview process.
These students are involved in planning events and activities throughout the entire academic year, such as DIY pop-ups, movie nights, school spirit events, large scale events, events designed to bring students into the Student Center, and more.
Code Red Entertainment is a great way to get involved!
